Jet David Hansen, 2 of Grand Island, flew to his Heavenly home at 747 on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at St. Francis Medical Center.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church. The Reverends Timothy D. Raasch and Chuck Peek will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand Island Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at All Faiths Funeral Home. To honor Jet’s love for superhero’s anyone is encouraged to wear superhero attire at both the visitation and his celebration service.

Jet was born April 29, 2013 at Hastings, NE the son of Jared and Sarah (Stoddard) Hansen.

Survivors include his parents, Jared and Sarah; sister, Samantha and big brother, Aksel.

Those also left to cherish his memory are grandparents, David and Kathy Stoddard and John and Karen Hansen; great-grandparents, Jay and Dorothy Stoddard, Rita Horst and Shirley Wicker all of Grand Island and aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandma GiGi.

In only a few years Jet has touched many lives worldwide. He was a funny kid who liked to make others laugh. He loved playing superheros and was all boy.

Jet was a brave boy and his family would like to thank all the physicians and nurses who have helped him on his journey.

A memorial fund will be established in Jet’s name.
