Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney and St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island will likely soon get a boost to their heart care departments.
Catholic Health Initiatives of Denver, Colorado has signed a letter of intent to acquire the Nebraska Heart Hospital of Lincoln.
CHI is the parent company of both Good Samaritan and Saint Francis.
The expected closing date of the sale is July 1st.
Nebraska Heart officials said their patients should not notice a major change in their services.
