Southwest flight makes emergency landing in Omaha

Some Southwest travelers got to see the Omaha airport for longer than the itinerary listed.

The Texas based airline's flight from Omaha to St. Louis took off at 8:30 this morning. After a short time smoke billowed in the cockpit and the crew turned the plane around and headed back to Omaha.

It landed safely back at Eppley Airport in omaha at 9:09. All passengers were re-routed to their destinations and there were no injuries.
