UNL attempts to stop rural exodus

It's an issue that's important for Nebraska but has implications beyond the state. The University of Nebraska Lincoln is trying to stop rural population loss by improving Nebraska's small towns.

The school is hoping to launch the Rural Futures Institute in September, drawing from $1.5 million a year in existing funding.
