Husker coach Bo Pelini said center Mike Caputo will play in the Capital One Bowl against South Carolina December 2nd.

The senior from Millard North plead guilty to a wreckless driving charge of December 11th in Lincoln and fined 100 dollars. Bo said his starting center has already been disciplined and will face additional measure once the team gets to Orlando next week.

Listen to what Bo recently said about how he handles these issues on the team:

"All the discipline I do is handled internally. It's a decision that, first of all, is in the best interest of our programs and also it's in the best interest of each kid. We handle each situation separately, individually and look at the facts and make a decision. I think I've shown over the last 4 years that I'm fair. We run a disciplined program. We run a program that's based on accountability. But to sit there and lump everything into one situation, you can't do that. You have to look at every situation and go with that."

I'm sure the Huskers are glad Mike will play. South Carolina has a great defensive line including freshman defensive end Jarverous Clowney, who is definitely no clown.
