Could it be an early season moment of truth for the Nebraska Danger Friday night in Yakama, Washington? It appears that way.

After two victories at home to start the season, the Danger are sort of a marked team in the Indoor Football League.

They'll take on the Tri-City Fever Friday night at 9:05 Central Time in a contest against what has been one of the more successful franchises in the league.

It'll be the Fever home opener after a narrow loss to the Colorado Ice, the same squad the Danger defeated his this game 70-53 last Saturday.

"It's going to really come down to coaching, to a game plan and us executing our game plan on offense and defense so from what I've seen of them on film, it's going to be a good game," said linebacker Maurice Simpkins.

"I mean, right now we're getting a lot of press around the league, you know, beating Sioux Falls and we have a pretty decent game last week and everybody wants to knock us off. Other times saying we're not as good as we are and we could honestly care less worrying about it as we say, but they're going to come out and definitely try and prove a point. They're a good team, a really good football team," said Danger quarterback Jameel Sewell.

Danger fans won't have to wait very long to again see the team in person.

After Friday night's contest in the Pacific Northwest, they'll return home a week from Friday night for a 7:05 kickoff against the Wyoming Cavalry.
