Fonner Park delays opening of racing season

Fonner Park's 60th season of racing will not start Friday as scheduled and will have to wait until at least Saturday.

The horses will not saddle up and these horses, anxious to race will have to stay in the barn to wait out the snow storm.

Once the snow stops, the Fonner parking lot and track will be cleaned
Track announcer Steve Anderson told me he's confident racing will go on as scheduled Saturday and Sunday with the first post time at 1:30 both days.

Once racing does start we'll have highlights and the payoff of the Feature race each day of racing exclusively here on News 5 at 10:00.
