Our Aurora Cooperative Game of the Week is back here on News 5.
This week's contest is the battle of the Thumbs Up City of Hastings, as the Adams Central Patriots visit the Hastings Tigers Friday night.

Lloyd Wilson Field in Hastings will be the place to be Friday night.
Both the Tigers and Adams Central Patriots opened their seasons last week with convincing victories.

The Patriots hosted the Sidney Red Raiders and dominated the contest coming away with a 35-7 win.

The Tigers were on the road at Schuyler and pitched a 47-0 shutout.
Yes, it's a battle between nearby Class B Rivals, but not a detail the coaches think about..

The fans at Lloyd Wilson Friday night will see some excellent football players go head to head.

Adams Central's Jake Fowler rushed for over 200 yards and four touchdowns, while Tiger QB Tyler Rebarger threw for three touchdowns and Austin Herringer rushed for over 100 yards.

So it shapes up as an early season thriller between Hastings and Adams Central to kick off at 7:00 and is our Aurora Cooperative Game of the Week. We'll have the action on News 5's Fourth Quarter.
