Grand Island celebrates fifth wrestling championship

Dynasty. There's really no other way to describe the Islander wrestling program after claiming it's fifth consecutive Class A State title over the weekend.

But Head Coach Mike Schadwinkel isn't in the business of comparing his tremendous program with other Nebraska wrestling dynasties.

"That's for the historians to decide. It's not my job. I just feel good about our kids and what we've accomplished. It's amazing, it feels great, it's a new year, it's a special championship just like the other ones were," said Coach Schadwinkel.
