Husker baseball players drafted to MLB

Three current Nebraska baseball players, a former player and a Husker recruit were all chosen in today's rounds of the Major League Baseball draft.

Former Husker pitcher Logan Ehlers who was on the staff briefly last season has been taken by the Detroit Tigers in the 20th round. Logan also drafted in 2009 by the Toronto Bluejays, battled injuries when he was at Nebraska.

Current Husker pitcher Travis Huber was choen in the 23rd by the Houston Astros, he might return to the Huskers.

The 23rd round was busy as also in the round is outfielder Kale Kiser taken by the Chicago White Sox.

A short time later, 1st baseman-catcher Richard Stock goes to the Cleveland Indians.

Then in the 35th round, shortstop Chad Christensen goes to the Miami Marlins.

Husker pitching recruit Matthew Strahm goes to the KC Royals in the 21st round.
