Coach Tim Miles said he sees progress. The Huskers were "right there" against Michigan State Sunday before a late 11-2 run broke the game open for the Spartans.

Nebraska showed some signs of life at the Breslin Center Sunday. Tim Miles saw his team take the Spartans deep into the game.

David Rivers came alive with 18 points and was an amazing 8 of 8 from the floor.

Playing shorthanded without starting forward Brandon Ubel, the Huskers hung in there before falling 66-56 to drop to 0-4 in Big Ten Play.
