It was more of the same for the Huskers in the first half of Saturday's ballgame against Northwestern - subpar shooting leading to another underwhelming performance at home. Then...the second stanza came along and something clicked.

Nebraska, filling it up in the second half, putting up 40 points on 54 percent shooting to run away with a 64 to 49 triumph over Northwestern.

The catalyst? Ray Gallegos, who scored all of his 11 points in the second frame.
