Remember November. That saying was made famous sometime back, though it's unclear how it exactly came to be a relatively famous expression.

The Husker football team hopes to finish a November to remember with a victory this week over Minnesota and a week from Friday over at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City against the Hawkeyes. That would clinch the Big 10 Legends division for the Huskers and send them to Indianapolis for the Big 10 Title game December 1st against Wisconsin.

As we've seen from time to time, it can get intense on the Husker sidelines during a game. The same can be said for just about every other team.

Linebacker Will Compton knows it's all part of the game.

Will and the Blackshirts hope to shut down Minnesota Gopher freshman quarterback Phillip Nelson who'll make his fifth start. He's been good with six touchdown passes and just 2 interceptions.

Donnell Kirkwood is a good running back for them averaging over 5 yards a carry with 5 rushing touchdowns.
