They came from two scores down in the 4th quarter against a good team on the road. There were so many Huskers in Evanston that Northwestern had to go on a silent count in its last 2 possessions.

Ben Cotton's reaction summed up the feelings of the Huskers after Saturday's hard fought 29-28 victory over the 'Cats.

Ben had caught the winning touchdown pass from Big 10 player of the week quarterback Taylor Martinez.

Taylor engineered the Big Red's final two touchdown drives to grab victory from the jaws of defeat before a crowd of some 20.000 Husker fans who invaded Ryan Field.

Now Saturday night's matchup with Michigan might have the inside track on winning the Big Ten Legends Division Title.
