Huskers will meet another old foe in future games
First Oklahoma...now Colorado. Nebraska announced Thursday that it will renew pleasantries with another old foe - the Colorado Buffaloes.
The two schools signed a contract to play four games between the 2018 and 2024 seasons. The first contest is set for Lincoln on September 8th, 2018. Big Red will return the favor traveling to Boulder to match up with the buffs on September 7th, 2019 The finale is locked in for September 7th, 2024 at Memorial Stadium. The contests will be the first since both institutions left the Big 12 following the 2010-2011 athletic season. If you were wondering, Big Red holds a 49-18-2 advantage over the Buffs. Bo Pelini offered his two cents on the matter saying quote, "There is a lot of great history between Nebraska and Colorado on the football field, so I think this will be an outstanding series for both schools. I think our fans will enjoy the matchups particularly those in Western Nebraska who can make the short drive to the games in Colorado." |
