Islander football team hits the practice field

"We gotta be in great condition. We're pretty fit now, but we're not where we need to be for Lincoln Northeast."

That is Grand Island Islander football coach Jeff Tomlin talking to his team about his teams' first game August 24th. That is when the Rockets of Lincoln Northeast invade Memorial Stadium for the season opener.

From now until then, all road for the players and coaches lead to the practice field.
