Lady Bronco Zwiener captures Player of the Week honor

It has been an excellent week so far for Coach Carrie Hofstetter's Hastings Lady Bronco basketball team.

The Broncos defeated the Northwestern Red Raiders Saturday 76-63 to even their overall record at 12-12 and GPAC mark at 7-7.

Center Laurel Zwiener has been chosen GPAC Player of the Week.

The junior from Pleasanton scored a career high 22 points in the game making 7 of 9 from the floor and 8 of 11 from the foul line.

The Lady Broncos will host the Midland Warriors Wednesday night at Lynn Farrell Arena.
