Nebraska Danger aim to keep momentum going
With eleven days between games, can the Nebraska Danger keep the momentum of the team's first victory of this 2012 season?
That is clearly the challenge of coach Mike Davis and his staff as the squad, and community look forward to game #3 against the Wyoming Calvary a week from Friday. No doubt the Monday night football win over the Omaha Beef gave the team and community a huge lift, and now the staff must continue to refine a winning attitude. The Sunshine State connection definitely shined for the Danger Monday night. Wide Receiver Corey Surrency, who caught one of seven Terry Mayo touchdown passes in the win over the Beef says the enthusiasm of the fans here brings back memories of yesteryear, his days at Florida State playing for Bobby Bowden as the famed Doak Campbell Stadium . By the way, after the Danger hosts the Cavalry next Friday, they'll travel down to Allen, Texas to take on the Wranglers and compete against none other than T-O himself, former Cowboy, Eagle and 49er Terrell Owens.
