Another exciting season of Nebraska volleyball concluded just one victory short of the Final Four in Louisville.

The squad was 26-7 bowing out with an Elite Eight loss to the Oregon Ducks at the Century Link Center.

Now the team will introduce Sand Volleyball to the intercollegiate sports in two months.

Coach John Cook is at the Leadership Hastings conference Wednesday at Lochland Country Club, and talked about the season and this new venture.

Of course the Huskers closed out the historic Nebraska Coliseum this season and they'll move into the refurbished Devaney Center once the basketball teams move to the new Pinnacle Bank Arena in Downtown Lincoln and we'll talk to coach Cook about that in future broadcasts on News 5.
