Ravenna football player chooses college program
Ravenna Bluejay football player Trace Armstrong will head south to play college ball, but not too far south.
He's on his way to play for Bill Snyder's Kansas State Wildcats as a preferred walk-on linebacker or defensive end. Trace transferred his senior year from Wood River to Ravenna where he helped coach Mark Hudson's team to a 6-3 record and playoff bid. Trace feels playing for Wildcat longtime coach Bill Snyder will truly be an honor. Trace had 112 tackles for the Jays. He feels he can either be a linebacker or defensive end for the Wildcats who were a surprising 10-3 this past season and will have Colin Klein back at quarterback this season. Trace says he'll enroll at Kansas State this summer and go right to school work and football preparation. |
