Omaha swim trials highlight Lochte-Phelps rivalry

The Olympic swim trials finally wrapped up Monday as the week of action in the pool produced plenty of memorable moments including four very close races between Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte.

All four races were settled by less than a second with the biggest gap being point eight three seconds in Lochte's 400 I-M victory and the smallest...Phelp's win in the 200 free beating Lochte by just five hundredths of a second.

Results Lochte credits to the ongoing rivalry between him and Phelps.

"The rivalry betwen us it's made both of us better just because the past few years I've been beating him. It pushes him every year in practice every day in practice and I know he's working harder to try to beat me so that means I've got to work even harder," said Lochte.

The two will match up in three individual events in the 2012 games as Phelps has dropped out of the 200 meter free to concentrate on his seven other events.
