Volleyball games at Sandy Creek high school was certainly played under a veil of sadness Monday night.

Players wore purple ribbons in memory of Sandy Creek student Cassie Gibbs who died in a car accident Saturday.

The school decided to go on with the games and dedicate them to her memory.
