Whoopers and Hoopers make it a slam dunk
With day two of Whoopers and Hoopers in the books it's time to have a little fun and let loose with the Slam Dunk and 3-point Competitions out at Lynn Farrell Arena.
Decent crowd out to see who is the best shot and who has the most hops. First things first we kick it off with the three point competition and it looks like they will let anybody in to the competition jeans and all, but he was one of just a few to actually hit the money ball. In the finals it was Charles Richardson III doing the most work knocking in the last three of this rack before heading over to the money ball and draining it as well as he scored 12 to win the championship. Then in the slam dunk competition right out of the box Mark Wilkens lets loose with this jam scoring a perfect twenty to take the early lead. Then two dunkers later it is Lucas Kasson using a little team work for the reverse jam where he gets robbed by the judges with a 16. I thought it was at least an 18. Meanwhile, some contestants not as lucky or as graceful. I thought about not using his name but sorry, Cody Hermsmeyer, gotta give you a fail there. With easily the winning dunk it's Mark Wilkens the man who started it off here it is again. Nice jam, my friend. |
