Nebraska Danger meets Venom Saturday night
The Nebraska Danger takes on the Wenatchee Valley Venom out in the Pacific Northwest in state of Washington starting at 9:05 Central Time.
After winning its first game in franchise history, the Danger has lost its next three to the Sioux Falls Storm, Green Bay Blizzard and LaCrosse Spartans. The last two have been close contests in which the Danger fell behind early and rallied in the case of this Green Bay game take the lead, before falling. They guys just want to start faster giving themselves the best chance to win Saturday night. The Danger is glad to have former Hastings Bronco star Maurice Mansfield back in the lineup. He played last week in the 50-44 loss at LaCrosse after missing the Green Bay game with a concussion. Running back Erick Jackson will also be back in the lineup. Coach Cory Bethany has used both Willie Tuiatoma and Dixie Wooten at quarterback and both should be well prepared to play tomorrow. After the battle with the Venom and making the long trip back from the Seattle area, the Danger's next home game is a week from tomorrow night at 7:05 when they host the Allen Wranglers. It'll be interesting to see if the crowds at Danger games continue to be near capacity as the first two home games were. |
