Nebraska Danger takes on Green Bay Blizzard
That's Nebraska Danger defensive back Leandre Walner about yesterday's game at the Heartland Events Center against the Green Bay Blizzard.
Once again the crowd came out in force to just about fill the 5,000 seat arena as the Danger and Blizzard battled to the wire in this one. Danger quarterback Willie Tuitama threw three fourth quarter touchdown passes to lead the team back from a 37-14 defecit to take a 38-37 lead, but a touchdown and field goal by the Blizzard secured the victory for them by the score of 48-38. It's been two home games in this first year of Danger football and two great crowds. The crowd definitely had that impact, as the Blizzard surrendered 3 safties, one on this snap over the quarterback's head out of the end zone. The Danger also blocked a field goal attempt that if they could have recovered for a touchdown, could have turned the game in their favor instead of losing this tough one. |
