The Nebraska Danger won their first home game in team history. But, they weren't as successful in their first road contest.

Dixie Wooten and the boys suffered their first loss of the season on the road to the Sioux Falls Storm 80-32.

The Danger got off to a good start with Maurice Mansfield running the opening kick-off deep into Storm territory.

But, Nebraska had to settle for a field goal.

Sioux Falls took over after that and led 42-16 at the half. Sioux Falls had 314 yards of total offense in the game while the Danger managed just 165 yards and 32 points.

This is after scoring 70 in their season opening win over the Wichita Wild.

QB Dixie Wooten completed 11 of 20 passes for 60 yards in the loss.

The Danger returns home this Sunday to take on the Green Bay Blizzard.
