Five Star Performer: Phillip Hamburger

So far this high school sports season, St. Cecilia's Phillip Hamburger has been one of the area athletes that has been fun to watch.
After an outstanding football season, one in which he had to overcome an injury to get back on the field, he's full go for the Bluehawk basketball team and is this weeks' Aurora Cooperative News 5 Five Star Performer.
Phillip is a familiar face under center for the Bluehawk football team.
He was in the midst of the squads 36 game win streak and back to back state titles in 2009 and 2010.
He was also a state champion basketball player in 2010, and shows he won't slow down scoring 33 points in a recent game as the Hawks are off to a 5-2 start this season.
Phillip and his teammates play tomorrow and Friday in the Aurora Holiday tournament.
They are a team that could very well again be part of March Madness at the state tournament.
