In Saturday night's victory over the Aurora Huskies, the Adams Central Patriot basketball team tied a school record they could break later this season. Those Patriots are our News Five 5 Star performers of the Week.

Zac Foster's Adams Central Squad can hit the shots from "downtown".
They did so a school record tying ten times in Saturday's contest matching a two season old mark.

That mark came during the 2007–08 season against the St. Paul Wildcats.

No doubt the Patriots like to shoot the "3" and they have the players to do it.

Patriots Jake Fowler and Ashton Dirks added one three pointer each in the contest.

Adams Central who are 2–0 were 10 of 15 from behind the arc against Aurora. Coach Foster assures us the team can, and will score inside as well. The Patriots visit Centura Friday and host Wood River Saturday.
