If there is a positive from Hastings' loss to 8th ranked Northwestern over the weekend it's that the Broncos know they can hang with anyone.

HC actually led the Red Raiders after the first frame only to run out of gas in the second.

Disheartening, sure, but Coach Lance Creech says their postseason goals are still within reach:

"Something that's still attainable is a home game in the first round of the conference tournament. Right now, I think that's going to be our biggest goal. We just gotta do what we can in the next six basketball games to put ourselves in position to play at home, play in our own confines against a team that's probably a little more beatable at home than it would be on the road."
