Hastings Bronco men's basketball coach Lance Creech says he'll step down after this season which begins a week from Friday November 2nd.

Lance is entering his 11th season as Bronco head coach after coming from McCook Community College back in 2002.

He was named coach of the year in the GPAC after the 2009-10 season.

With two young boys at home under the age of 12, Lance wants to be a bigger part of their lives.

Last season, the Broncos were 12-18 and 6-14 in the GPAC.
During Lance's tenure the Broncos produced 25 all GPAC players.....
The Broncos first home game this season comes the night of November 13th and the UNK Lopers at 7:30 here at Lynn Farrell Arena...
Lance is a native of nearby Doniphan and says he is already coaching one of his son's 7th grade teams. Not bad having a head college coach as your coach.
We'll see if he returns to coaching in later years but for now this season is it.
