With 9 victories last season, the Hastings Bronco football team was one of three teams in the GPAC to earn a playoff spot. It was a heartbreaking last second loss to Ottawa in the first round that ended their season.

GPAC football coaches, including Paul Mierkiewicz of the Broncos gathered Tuesday in Lincoln to look forward to the 2010 season.

It begins for Hastings College at Briar Cliff Saturday night September 4th.

Last season's 9–3 record put the Broncos back into the league's elite.

In addition to the loss to Ottawa in the playoffs, the Broncos only other two losses last season were to the National Champion Sioux Falls Cougars and the Morningside Mustangs, the only two teams that finished ahead of the Broncos in the GPAC.
