HC Broncos take victory over the Trojans
A little closer to home down at Lloyd Wilson Field the Broncos also won Saturday, but it was not as much dramatic as the Husker game.
HC was taking it to Dakota State creaming the Trojans 44-14 putting up 490 total yards while forcing 3 turnovers on defense, but even after a performance like that Coach Tony Harper knows the work is far from over. "It felt good for the kids, they played hard. It was a pretty good first half. Our second half we got a lot of things we got to clean up. We weren't playing smart. We had some stupid penalties out here and we got to get a lot better with Midland coming to town next week. We gotta win so we gotta work," said Harper. Hastings College hosts Midland next Saturday. The Warriors are losers of their last 3 games after falling 51-14 to Northwestern yesterday but are better on the road sporting a two and one record away from Fremont. Kickoff is set for 1pm. |
