It seems like a simple formula for Hastings College baseball this week. Win four games and they're GPAC Champs.

The Broncos are currently in a two way tie for second place in the Conference. That's two games behind first place Doane.

Coach Jim Boeve's bunch plays two games against Concordia on Thursday and then a key doubleheader against Doane on Saturday in Crete.

Hastings is coming off a split with Nebraska Wesleyan.

Coach Boeve says being in the hunt is exactly what his guys want.

The winner of the regular season conference title receives an automatic bid to the NAIA National tournament.

Hastings has won 4 four of their last 8 games.

And, coach says if the Broncos want to continue their success it'll be up to their bats.

Hastings will play a non-conference game against York college Tuesday at Smith Softball complex.
