Tomlin returns to play for Bronco baseball
Hastings College baseball will need to get their offense going this week in the NAIA baseball tournament. And, they'll get a player back that could provide a spark.
After missing the past weeks, Bronco centerfielder Mike Tomlin will return from injury to play in the teams' first round game against Kansas Wesleyan in Lubbock Texas. The junior had been at the top of the Hastings lineup. And, one of the top hitters before suffering an injury. Zach Nelson has filled in for Tomlin over the past few games. Coach Boeve said he'd like to see if Tomlin can play this week. Tomlin is a graduate of Grand Island High School. If the Broncos win on Thursday at 1 P.M, they'll play number one seed Lubbock Christian. |
