The Tony Harper era at Hastings College is officially under way.
After five years as Associate Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator Harper takes over the reigns as the head man Leading the Broncos football team.
And in his first year in charge like most coaches his number one goal is to get his players to buy into his system.
The players who buy into the system first will have the best chance to earn a starting spot because right now nothing is set in stone.
Even though coach says every spot is open you can bet Tommy Van Haute will start on the O-Line with Indiana Jones and Alek Diffendaffer plugging holes and taking on Fullbacks at linebacker.
The Broncos kickoff the season September 10th at home versus Dordt, a team HC beat 35 to nothing last year in Sioux Center, Iowa.
