Let's go to Patriot Field for the Adams Central opener with the Cozad Haymakers, The Patriot himself in very fired up.

Early in the 2nd quarter, the Patriots are in the Red Zone, Creighton Reed hands off to Mister Reliable Jake Fowler, he takes it in for the score standing up form six yards out and the Patriots grab a 7–0 lead.

The Patriots fans love it.

On foruth and goal from the eight, Adams Central knocks the pas down and the ball goes over on downs, AC leads 7–0.

Still 7–0 with about 30 seconds left, Creighton Reed goes deep looking for Blake Overmiller, the pass is broken up at the goal line by Nathan Bubak, and the score remains 7–0 at the half,

The Patriots of Adams Central does go onto shutout Cozad 17–0 in the opener for both teams.
