The Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders find themselves in uncharted territory this season sitting at .500 and a long way from challenging for a state title.

But the young squad is making strides as of late falling to Lincoln Christian 43 to 41 in the Centennial Conference Tournament Championship.

Earlier today News 5's Sports Director Ed Littler caught up with the Crusaders head Coach Bill Gavers.
