At the Huebert household in Aurora, they need two football victories each weekend. They want one for the 2 time Class B defending champion Huskies Friday night for coach Randy Huebert, and another from the Hastings Broncos Saturday whose quarterback is Troy Huebert.

That's exactly what happened recently as the Broncos defeated the Concordia Bulldogs a night after the Huskies knocked off the Gering Bulldogs.

For Troy, he feels the Bronco offense should have scored more than the 2 touchdowns it had in the 23–6 win.

By the time Coach Randy Huebert watched his son perform in this game for the Broncos, he had traveled over 500 miles round trip in less than 24 hours just to be here in Seward.

This week, Troy and the Broncos return home with their 3–2 mark to face a tough Midland Lutheran squad.

Coach Randy Huebert will be at Lloyd Wilson field in Hastings watching the game. The night before he coaches is #1 ranked Huskies in Grand Island as they face the Northwest Vikings.

Will it be 2 more wins for the Huebert family? Stay tuned.
