It is almost time for March Madness. That is a very happy Ben McQuiston after his Aurora Huskies came from 9 points behind last night to defeat the Grand Island Northwest Vikings 43-37 in the Class B-5 district final.

It seemed the Vikings had this one wrapped up in the 3rd quarter after Alex Larson made this shot.

The Vikings led by 9 points with 1:08 to go in the 3rd period.

The Huskies turned it around Big Time in the 4th allowing just 3 points in the fourth quarter scoring 16 of their own to punch their ticket to state.

"Oh yeah, definitely they're a great team, 19-4 or something like that, we pulled off a win. I just feels great," said Alex Hunt.

"Oh man, it feels great getting down by nine, I think in the third quarter and then getting a good stretch in the fourth quarter felt amazing," Ben McQuiston said.

"The pep band is great, the fans were great, it's loud, Northwest had a great crowd here, too. It was just a great high school basketball game," said Coach Rick Bell.

The Huskies now move onto the state Class B quarterfinals a week from Thursday at 7:00 as the 8th seed at the Devaney Center when the face the top seeded and defending champion Scottsbluff Bearcats.
