It's our first hot chocolate night of the season where at Lloyd Wilson Field the temperature was cool, but the McCook Bison red hot.

Austin Cherry throws the ball, Cody Wuektke reaches with one and and tips the ball to himself for the touchdown as the Bison come to Hastings and leave with the 5th straight victory.

Are you ready for some.. Dogma?

These dogs went A Woo but the Adams Central Patriots played the role of dog whisperer. Just as the sun rises from the East, Patriots coach Bill Carlin sees to it #11 Jake Fowler gets the ball. Is Hastings Bronco coach Tony Harper knocking on Jake's door as we speak? He probably already has a long time ago.

Jake has another 100 yard rushing game, the Patriots pitch their fifth shutout in six games and are a comfortable 6-0. Playoffs, please.

Over at Aurora it was also a night that didn't go well for the Dogs.
The Grand Island Northwest Vikings come to town and simply dominate. Quarterback Zac Rouzee and Alex Larson hook up often, Zac continues to make his volleyball coaching mother Diane and volleyball playing older sisters Lyndee and Jenna proud of him as the Vikings Shock the Huskies 54-0.

The Stars shine in Cozad, the Kearney Catholic Stars that is. We have a great view of their field goal will inside the upright but Dave Colling's team didn't settle for field goals on other possessions and they win to also go 6-0.

The game of the night had to be in Sutton where despite the DT Cardinals early success, it was Mustang Mania prevailing in the last seconds 36-29 and yes the Mustangs are also six and O.

At Grand Island Lincoln Northstar defeated a depleated Islander team. Young to begin with, the Islanders are without their starting quarterback and other key players as they drop to 2-6 with a 35-14 loss.
