The conference tournament schedule rolls on with among others the LouPlatte Conference gets under way Monday with boys and girls play and we tip off coverage in Wood River where the Eagles hosted the Chants from Ord for the unwanted right to play Ravenna in the next round.
Looks like its eighties night out at Wood River - gotta love those neon tights.
Pick it up in the first, Ord on offense using the old in and then back out to Brett Waller who cans the three for a three one lead.
Coach Bechtold not showing his excitement.
Then its Abie Rojas putting in a three of his own for a four three lead.
Coach Lindsey also going with the stone face.
Later in the first Ord looking to tie and they get it to Clayton Keown and he hits the Jumper from the free throw line to make it five all.
Now Wood River down two and looking for a bucket and lucky for them Dakota Erpelding finds it tying the game at seven.
Getting toward the end of the first Chants swinging the ball to the corner where Brant Bechtold hits the three ten eight Ord.
Then right before the end of the quarter its Erpelding out on the break he misses the bunny but stays with it putting it back tying it at ten going into the second quarter.
