Game of the Week: Kearney Catholic vs North Platte
Class C squads compete in their semi-final games Tuesday night. One of those contest matches the Kearney Catholic Stars and North Platte St. Pat's Irish in the C-2 semifinals.
It is our Aurora Cooperative Game of the Week. Both squads are playing great ball. The Irish of North Platte St. Pat's came into Duncan Field and upset the 2 time defending Champion St. Cecilia Bluehawks last Tuesday. Earlier that afternoon, the Stars won their 10th straight game with a 17-14 verdict over the Crofton Warriors. The game kicks off at 6:00 Tuesday night at Knights of Columbus Field in North Platte, The winner of the KCHS-St. Pat's game takes on the winner of Tuesday's contest between Aquinas Catholic and Lincoln Christian in the C-2 title game. That championship game at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln is 2:45 next Tuesday. Most Popular |
