Sunday Six (3/11/12)
Last week in the ABC Seamless Siding Sunday Six I highlighted the play at the girls state basketball tournament and this week I do the same with the boys so I hope you enjoy.
Kicking it off at number six Overton's Tanner Ryan with the nifty reverse layup in the Eagles heart breaking first round loss to Humphrey St. Francis. Moving to number five it's the Giltner hornet's Jake Findlay with a precursor of things to come knocking in the three as his team beat Hayes Center in the opening round. Now to fur and Ravenna's opener Trevor Cyboron with the floater as the jays comeback from 11 in the first to get the win over Johnson Brock. Staying with the Blue Jays in round two Cyboron faking out the Trojans with the shot slash lob to Connor Beranek for the score in a 79-50 victory against Hartington Cedar Catholic. At number two it's Beranek again showing his versatility taking it all the way to the hoop splitting defenders as the jays win the class C-2 state title over Lutheran Northeast. And at number one what other play could it be Drew Ott taps it out to Jake Findlay and he puts in the three sending the game to Overtime and sending the Hornets to a second straight state title.
