Sunday Six (3/25/12)
It's that time of the week again: time for the Sunday 6 and this week we cover the gamut of sports so I hope you enjoy the ABC seamless siding Sunday 6.
We start with some basketball action from last week's Whoopers and Hoopers tourney. It's the Old School team showing off the athleticism dunking on Black Dog Polishing. Look out below. Moving to a rainy day out at Haymarket and NU Pat Kelly taking this pitch deep and the park won't hold it despite the yard work the Huskers lost the game six to four. In at number four it's the Hastings High soccer team and Zach Johnson using his head to get the ball by the Northeast goalie for the Tigers third goal of the match HHS won 3-0. On to three its an eerily similar play this time from the GI soccer team as Nacho Salinas-Castillo heads this on by the same goalie from northeast as the islanders ground the rockets 10 nil. At two we go to the rink and the Storm showing they know how to handle the puck check out the passing as Thomas NyKopp could've made this one with his eyes closed. Tri-Cities with a big 5-1 win over Omaha on Friday. And at number one the Nebraska Danger last seconds of the game Dwight Dasher scrambles to his right and throws it up to 6'6" Corey Surrency and he comes down with it for the score to bring his team within one point of the victory.
