Bosselman handicap set for this Saturday

Entries for Fonner Park's signature race, the $75,000 Gus Fonner Bosselman handicap will close Wednesday. The drawing for post positions will be Thursday.

The race itself will go off at about 5:45 Saturday afternoon and will be for a mile and a sixteenth and is scheduled to be the 10th race.

The race is for three year olds and up. Last year's winner was Shadowdancing.

We'll see how many former winner of the race if any and how many other horses who have run it will run again.

First posttime Saturday is at 1:30. Postime Friday for the first race is 3:00.

There are five more race dates for the 2011 meeting. The last day of racing is Satrurday May 7th the same day as the Kentucky Derby to be seen on NBC and News 5.
