He was slated to have his share of carries behind Husker All-American candidate Rex Burkhead at running back this coming college football season, but now Aaron Green is leaving Nebraska.

The sophomore from San Antonio saw limited action last season with 24 carries and 105 yards as well as this key touchdown catch in the win over the Washington Huskies.

His father Tony says Aaron will go to a school closer to home, perhaps Texas Tech, Baylor or Houston.

Aaron's brother Andrew Green, who is slated to start in the defensive backfield for Nebraska this season, is staying right where he is.
