Burkhead snags spot on second award list

An NU player is up for another post season award and it's the same guy as Thursday. Rex Burkhead is one of fifty named to the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award.

The senior running back is one of just five Big 10 Players on the list while miraculously the Kansas State Wildcats have three from their team alone.

The list of 50 will be narrowed to 10 semifinalists in mid-November with the winner being announced, you guessed it, December 6th on the Home Depot College Football Awards.
