Coach Pelini updates Rex Burkhead's condition

Husker Running back Rex Burkhead is expected to be ready to go Saturday for the game against UCLA in the Rose Bowl.

After scoring the first touchdown on a 57 yard run,Rex suffered a knee sprian against Southern Miss in Saturday's opener on a subsequent carry.

He sat out the final 3 quarters. Rex was on the bench with ice on his knee.

Rex had 3 carries for 68 yards before having to leave Saturday's game, but apparently the injury is not a severe as first thought. At least the Huskers hope so.
