The watch list honors continue to roll in for the Nebraska Football team as the signal caller Taylor Martinez has been named to the Davey O'Brien award watch list.

Martinez is one of 34 quarterbacks named to the watch list released Wednesday morning.

The two way quarterback has accounted for 5,559 yards in his first two seasons with the Cornhuskers ranking him third on the all-time total offense list at NU.

This is the third straight year Martinez has been named to the watch list.

Martinez was a semifinalist for the award in his first season under center with the cornhuskers in 2010.

The O'Brien Selection committee will announce the three finalists for the award November 19th and will announce the winner December sixth at the Home Depot College Football Awards Show in Orlando.
