Husker basketball team struggles against Wisconsin
Speaking of Michigan, guess who has the #2 team in the nation in basketball and guess whom Nebraska plays next?
Here at the Devaney Center Sunday, Herbie Husker was psyched. The Huskers had a 3 point lead in the 2nd half over the Wisconsin Badgers, but scored just one field goal in the last six minutes of the game to lose 47-41. A 13-2 run sparked by the Badgers Jared Burgeron's three baskets send the crowd of nearly 9.000 watching this game home disappointed. The Huskers were just 18 of 49 from the floor and 2 of 12 from beyond the arc shooting just 36% for the game to drop to 0-2 in the Big 10. The dry spell in those last six minutes cost the Huskers what would have been a precious win which seem they'll be few and far between this season. |
